Update your profile pageAs a member of TheDanceInsider.com, you have your very own Profile Page, which you can edit. You can edit any of your profile information that appear on your Profile Page. To change your name, email address, password, Profile Photo, or your Profile Information, go to your Settings, in the right hand column. This page will help you control what gets displayed on your Profile Page.

Add photos or videos To add Photos or Videos, click on the Photos or Videos tab in the navigation bar, and then click the "Add Photos/Videos" link. You can also click the Photos or Videos link under your Profile Picture to take you to those pages.

You can also use the Quick Add feature to upload Photos and Videos. You will find the Quick Add feature in the top module on the right hand column. In the pull-down menu, select the item you would like to upload.

Creating an eventAs a member of this social network, you can create events for the entire network to see. In order to create an account, click on the "Events" tab, in the navigation bar. The "Add an Event" link will allow you to create your own event and invite friends and other network members.

Customize your Profile PageThe modules on your Profile Page can be moved around on your page. In order to move a feature, hover you cursor over the module header. A little box will appear, letting you know in which directions you can move the module. Not all features can be moved to any of the three columns on your Profile Page. You can drag the module to any area that the feature allows.

Dance Studio OwnersAdd a schedule of classes to your profile page! To do this, add the Box.net Files application to your profile picture by by clicking on the "Applications" link under your profile picture and then searching for "box.net". The Box.net Files application should appear. Click the "Add To My Page" button and confirm. You will be taken back to your Profile Page. Register with Box.net in order to upload files, such as class schedules and photos of your studio.

Dancers/Choreographers We suggest that you upload your resume, reel and headshots to your profile page. They will be downloadable for others to take a look at. You can do this by clicking on the "Applications" link under your profile picture and then searching for "box.net". The Box.net Files application should appear. Click the "Add To My Page" button and confirm. You will be taken back to your Profile Page. Register with Box.net -- You will only have to do this once. Once you have created your account, you will be able to upload files, including your resume, reel and head shots, which other members will be able to view and download.
